Overview & Listings
Among locals it's common to hear folks say something akin to, "I came to New Orleans for a weekend 15 years ago and haven't left yet." The Okra Inn is the perfect place to find out why.
The home is a historic camelback cottage located in the lively Mid City area on the Canal Streetcar line. There are five bedrooms for rent and we can accommodate up to 10 guests for whole home rentals or individual rooms. The Inn features 12 and 14 foot ceilings throughout, original pocket doors, beautiful crown molding, two living rooms, two dining rooms (with seating for up to 16), three and a half bathrooms, a front porch, back balcony, back patio and our own blend of artsy charm.
Grab a cold beer and enjoy our front porch (a favorite local pastime). Hop on the streetcar and enjoy a short, quaint ride (for $1.25) to The French Quarter anytime, day or night. Or enjoy all that Mid City has to offer. We are within ONE MILE of:
